The Norhill Neighborhood Association hosts a monthly First Friday happy hour at rotating homes and businesses throughout the neighborhood. A relaxed way to meet neighbors and catch up.

A night of darkwave and goth sounds featuring In The Shadows, DJ Naika, Whisperwish, and Andrako. All ages, standing room only. Cashless venue.

A beloved Garden Oaks tradition sponsored by GO Kids. Families decorate bikes, strollers, scooters, and wagons in red, white, and blue for a patriotic neighborhood parade. Plan to arrive by 8:30 AM to join the fun.

A Fourth of July celebration in the Heights with BBQ plate specials ($28 — ribs, chicken, and all the fixings), beef hot dogs, a dunk tank, face painting, and live music from Amanda Kate Riley. Family-friendly with a play area and outdoor seating.
