Kemah Boardwalk

30 to 40 minutes from the Heights — The Kemah Boardwalk is a classic family destination on the shores of Galveston Bay. For families, the big draw is the lineup of 13 rides including the Boardwalk Bullet roller coaster, a towering Ferris wheel with views across the water, and a vintage carousel that younger kids love.
